Please share a memory of Crystal to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Crystal Michelle Caserta McDaniels, 47, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington. She was born on October 16, 1977, in Logan, the daughter of Randy Caserta of Braeholm, WV, and the Late Ruth Caserta. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Lance and Nellie Caserta and Easter Blankenship. A 1995 graduate of Man High School, Crystal continued her education at Charleston University, where she graduated as a paralegal. She formerly worked as a Paralegal for Mark Hobbs and as a victims advocate at the Logan County Courthouse. Crystal had a profound love for her family and cherished every moment she spent with them. Whether it was sharing laughter around the dinner table or planning their next adventure, her family was the center of her world. She especially enjoyed family vacations, creating unforgettable memories, and experiencing new places together. No matter where she went, her son, Brody, was always by her side, a testament to the special bond they shared. Crystal had a soft spot for animals, and her pets brought her immense joy and companionship. Her caring nature extended to all living beings, and she always made time for those she loved. Her kindness, love, and strength will forever be remembered by her family and friends. All who knew her will deeply miss her warm smile and generous heart. Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Chris McDaniels of Davin; two daughters, Kayleigh Bryant of Harts and Lauren Goodman of Logan; four sons, Brody McDaniels at home and Nickolas Caserta of Accoville, Christian and Quentin Goodman of Logan, a sister Stephanie Caserta and her family of Man, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at Davin Baptist Church at Davin and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. A Celebration of Life Service will begin on Friday, October 25th, at 1:00 p.m. at Davin Baptist Church at Davin, with Rev. Johnny Hatfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Godby. Online condolences may be sent to www.krantzmcneelyfuneralhome.com Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home in Man.
