I'm so saddened to hear of Christine's passing. She was such a kind, sweet person and such a wonderful wealth of knowledge whenever I reached out to her for clerk help. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Chris you were loved. You gave so much love to your children, husband, and grandson. To Chris’ children a memory for you to always hold in your heart. We remember when your mother was born. We were so excited to have a new first cousin in our lives. Your Aunt Vida, Momma Mae, your Dad
and Aunt Nannie and all the cousins loved you. We will continue to remember and feel the love that she shared on Facebook sometimes daily of her children and grandson. Your mother accomplished so much through out her life. She was intelligent and of course very funny in all her jokes. Always so pretty and hard working. Her family was her life. Her road was not easy in many times of her life. However, God gave her the strength to make it until he called her home. We all loved your mother and she will be missed. Love Brenda and Erica, Jimmie Ann, David, Shelley, Karl, Jr, Joy, Scott, Todd, and Paul, Judy, Tammy and Charlie.

My sincere condolences to Chris' family. She spoke about her children and grandson all the time. You were loved! I met Chris one time when she came to Ashtabula, OH to apply for the position of Clerk of Council. It was like I'd known her forever. Seems like that's who Chris was, a friend you never knew you had until you met her. May the memories you made while she lived be what keeps you smiling. Continue to make memories, especially with the little guy bc we never know when our time on earth is done. Very sincerely, LaVette Hennigan, master municipal clerk (retired).

It was a privilege to know Chris when she came to Ohio. She was passionate about children and displayed that love in her position of Municipal Clerk. She will be missed by members of the local and state Municipal Clerk Associations including me, a retired Municipal Clerk. We remained friends on Social Media and kept in touch. Chris always talked about her beloved grandson, Garratt, and her grown children. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for family and friends left behind.

Chris was.my first.love starting in 9th grade at Carroll Jr High, then we went to Sanderson where we kind of drifted apart, we were both "young and dumb" at the time. We re-connected.a few years ago due to Facebook and found we had so much in common, we had planned on getting together but I just couldn't find the courage to leave where I was at. We still continued to talk about things like fire departments, wrestling football, among other things. I will miss her and our talks. Rest easy sweetheart, glad your back with your husband, daddy and your daughter. At least now you're no longer in pain.

Jack was one of my best friends of my lifetime and I first met Chris when she was returning a TV I loaned them for a few months and she was always a colorful lady and always friendly to me and everyone she liked that she worked with. I am devastated by the news, she helped me a few times with my mother and I will never forget her help and kindness.

David and Robyn, lifting you and her family up in prayers in your sudden loss of Chris. She graduated with my brother Craig in ‘83 and remember you both from my friendship with Robyn. I pray for God’s peace and comfort during this difficult time but hope the memories give you sunshine and know she is healed in the arms of Jesus and we will see her again in heaven.
