Obituary of Eulah Agnes Davis
Please share a memory of Eulah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eulah Agnes (Barrett) Davis, 94, of Lewis Center, Ohio, Formerly of Man, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 24, 2024, leaving Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Eulah was born on March 26, 1930, to the late Ambrose and Alice (Brady) Barrett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Anderson (Andy) Davis. They were married for more than fifty years.
Eulah was a 1948 graduate of Guyan Valley High School, where she was the Valedictorian of her class, and a 1970 graduate from Morris Harvey College.
She was a Beloved Teacher who taught second grade at Amherstdale Grade School for many years before retiring.
She was a member of Becco United Baptist Church for over 70 years, beginning back in the early fifties. At the church, she loved so dearly, where she was well known for her Italian Cream Cakes. She loved spending time and going on vacations with her family.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter Karen (Doug) Hughes of Huntington and her son Gregory (Karen) Davis of Ranson. Her pride and joy are three grandchildren: Brian (Candi) Hughes of Lewis Center, OH, Todd (Kelli) Hughes of Monroe, GA, and Star (Jason) Lowe of Barboursville, WV. She also has six amazing great-grandchildren, Jaelyn and Addie Lowe of Barboursville, Dakota, Austin Hughes of Lewis Center, OH, and Paige and Braeden Hughes of Monroe, GA.
Eulah will forever leave a hole in the hearts of all who loved her.
