Obituary of Linda Kay Crawford

Linda Kay Crawford, 68, of Hurricane, WV, formerly of Amherstdale, WV, went to be with Her Heavenly Father on June 21, 2024, from the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice Center in Huntington.
She was born on February 27, 1956, the first baby girl at Man Hospital. She was the daughter of the late James T. Clark and Dorothy Irene Adkins Clark.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lee Crawford, and Siblings Betty Duncan, Tommy Clark, and Danny Clark.
Linda was a 1974 graduate of Man High School. After graduation she worked for a lawyer in Pt. Pleasant. She then returned to Logan County and worked for Gilley's Heating and Cooling, where she met the love of her life, Danny. Danny and her were married on November 29, 1975. From their union, they had two daughters, Becky Plumley and Jessica Crawford (both of Milton, WV). She had two Grandsons whom she loved very much, Logen and Connor Plumley (Both of Milton, WV).
She was a member of Man church of God, where she was president of the lady's aide, co-teacher at primary Sunday School Class and Youth Class, and helper of the Food Pantry. She worked for Logan General/ Regional Hospital as a CNA and was a ward clerk. She retired in 2005 and cared for her mother until her passing on June 26, 2008. Linda moved to Milton and attended Highlawn Church of God. She then moved to Hurricane.
In addition to her daughters, Linda is survived by two sisters: Donna and Michael Plumley of Thomasville, NC, and Barbara Osborne of Lake, WV. One Brother, Roger Clark, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She also had two very special friends whom she loved very much. Lynn Ellis and Carol Johnson stayed by her side during her last days and cared for her. The family would like to extend a thank you to everyone who visited her in the last few days. Also, a special thank you to the nurses at the hospice house where she stayed for their compassion and for making her last days comfortable.
A private Graveside service will be held for her family and close friends at Highland Memory Gardens in Godby.
