Kathern Sue “Kathy” Mullins of Lyburn, WV Kathern Sue “Kathy” Mullins, 59, of Lyburn, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, leaving from the home of her sister, after a long illness. She was born on January 25th, 1964, at Madison Creek, the daughter of the late Dallas and Dorsilene Nichols. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Keith Mullins; two sisters, Dreama Gail Nichols and Rhoda Ann Brown. Kathern was a member of the Davies Branch Church where she and her late husband served as Deacons. Kathy leaves behind one son, Justin Mullins; one daughter, Elcie Mullins; three brothers, Troy (Rose) Nichols, Dallas (Sherri) Nichols, and Vernon (Carolyn) Nichols, all of Lyburn; five sisters, Donna (Gerald) Wells, Rosemary (Rush) Adkins, Mamie Lambert, all of Lyburn, Renee (Ted) Sparks of Mallory, Angel (Michael) Goodman of Cyclone; and her great-niece who was raised as a sister, Stephanie (Brian) Stewart of Lyburn; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family. A gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. The Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Wells officiating. In honor of Kathy’s wishes her remains will be cremated.
