Obituary of Joseph (Joe) Daniels
Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Joseph (Joe) Daniels, 58, of Stowe, WV, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2023, after a short illness. He was born on June 7, 1965, in Chicago, IL, to the late Roy and Eurie Slone Daniels.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Danny (Wong) Daniels, a sister, Peggy Hale, two brothers-in-law, Clifton Tomblin and Jack Blankenship, and a nephew, John Hatfield.
He was born again on September 9, 2023, where he gave his life to the Lord in the presence of his family.
He was a 1983 graduate of Man High School and began his career as a skilled carpenter. He moved to North Carolina, where he later became a foreman and business owner. Joe took immense pride in his work and loved to share his knowledge with his two sons. Joe was one of a kind; loved to make people laugh and would do anything for anyone. He loved to spend time with his family, where he shined as the life of the party. He enjoyed passing frisbee with his great nephew, whom he loved dearly, Kolten Albright.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 31 years, Elizabeth Lusk, two sons whom he was incredibly proud of, Scott and Joci Daniels of Summerville, SC, J.J. Daniels, and his fiancé Tori Compton of Stowe, One Grandchild on the way, Carter Daniels, two brothers, Hubert and Patricia Daniels of Lorado, and Floyd and Wendi Daniels of Amherstdale, one sister, Nyoka Tomblin of Lorado, four brothers-in-law, Gordon Bubba Hale, Ira Lusk, David, and Cathy Lusk, and Glen and Karen Lusk, one sister-in law, Shirley and Johnny Albright, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and family friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Becco United Baptist Church at Amherstdale.
A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Becco United Baptist Church with the Rev. P.J. Tomblin officiating.
