Obituary of Karen Elizabeth Baldridge

Karen Elizabeth Baldridge of Huntington, WV Karen Elizabeth Baldridge, 61, of Huntington, formerly of Man, departed this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington after a sudden illness. She was born on September 3, 1953, at Logan, a daughter of Katherine Adkins Lynn of West Palm Beach, FL and the late Nelson Browning, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother who was a big part of her life, Anna Mae Browning; and her granddaughter, Madison Paige Toler Baldridge. Karen was a home maker who took great pride in making a good home for her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 44 years, Bobby Gene Baldridge; two sons, Bobby Ray (Stephanie) Baldridge of Amherstdale and Michael (Melissa) Baldridge of Switchback; four grandchildren, Alison Baldridge, Payton Baldridge, Alexis Baldridge, and Darien Nester; two sisters, Linda (David) Greene of Dearborn Heights, MI and Donna Kathy Roberts of West Palm Beach, FL; and a best friend, Renee Workman of Huntington; along with a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, July 6, 2015, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man. Entombment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park at Huntington. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
