In loving memory of Ronald D. Green, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was born September 13, 1945, the son of the late Ray Green and Virginia Swann of Chapmanville. Ron left this world peacefully on August 9, 2023, to be with his Lord and Savior. Ron was a proud military veteran where he served as a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a chief mine electrician until he retired after being involved in a mining accident. Ron was a kind and generous man who truly loved God, his family, and his friends. He was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Georgetown, SC. He loved his pastor, Dayton (Nicole) Stamey, their children, and every parishioner and child. Ron was especially devoted to his wife of 48 years, Paula. They spent the last day, where he could speak, declaring his endless and forever love as she declared the same for him. He also declared his love for his and Paula's son, Ronnie, and his granddaughter Kelsi (Trevor) Toler, who were by his bedside as he departed this life. He absolutely adored his great-grandson, Zander Matthew Davidd Toler. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother Calvin Green, sister Phyllis White, brothers-in-law Gary White, Connie White, and Seaburn Carter, sister-in-law Georgia Hall, mother-in-law Dorothy Carter, and father-in-law Troy Carter.
