Ladeane Daniels
of Wharton formerly of Davin, WV
Ladeane Daniels, 64, of Wharton formerly of Davin, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, leaving from Hospice House at CAMC Memorial, after a sudden massive stroke.
She was born on June 22, 1959, at Logan, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Jane Yantis (Canterbury) Dunn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Tillis Dunn, Marksie Dunn, Oval Dunn, Naaman Dunn, and Jack Dunn; two sisters, Loretta Edwards and Beatrice Cline; and grandmother, Myrtle Mae Canterbury.
Ladeane was a 1977 graduate of Man High School. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, painting, crafts, cooking, and crocheting baby blankets for every new baby in the family. Ladeane loved going to church and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are the love of her life her husband, Andrew Daniels of Wharton; two sons, Roy Cecil and his wife Kelsey Dunn of Tamcliffe and Troy Maynor and his companion Heather White of Mallory; one daughter, Vicky and her husband Brian Adams of Man; one step-son, Andrew Daniels, Jr. and his girlfriend Lisa Dillon of Branchland; one daughter, Delilah Daniels of Madison; sisters, Zydis Browning and her husband Tommy of Garden City, MI Clairus Dunn-Keep of Brighton, MI, and Deanna Bryson of Chapmanville; 10 grandchildren, Michelle McNeely, Clinton McNeely, James McNeely and his companion Kayleigh Carter, Kenny Dunn, Leonard
Dunn, Austin Maynard and his wife Tiffany, Troy Maynor, Jr., Brandon Maynor, Teena Maynor and her fiancé Brandon Collins, and Kaiden White; 11 great-grandchildren, Maci and Addisyn McNeely, Allyssa Williams, Jayson Frye, Carson, Juliana, Jayleigh, Kolson, and Journie McNeely, Bentley Collins, and Wyatt Maynard; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Mallory Church of God at Mallory.
A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Mallory Church of God with Bishop Shaun Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
