Obituary of Corinne Harvey McNeely

Corinne Harvey McNeely, 92, of Man, died on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a short illness. She was born on July 11, 1922, at Accoville, the daughter of the late A. Burnette and Golda Walls Harvey; her brother, Morris Hermon Harvey; and her sister, Juanita Caldwell Morrill. Corinne was a proud and honor graduate of the Old Man High School and the Jefferson School of Commerce at Charlottesville, VA. She loved people. Family and friends were always greeted with a smile and a hug. Corinne was a devoted mother to her handicapped son. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 1/2 years, Richard "Red" McNeely; son, Richard McNeely II; and daughter, Cheryl Griffith Demiceli of Elgin, IL. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Rev. Michael Johnson officiating.
