Obituary of Bobby Lee Browning

Bobby Lee Browning, 87, passed away on July 08, 2023 Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. Bobby was born on May 08, 1936 in Robinette, WV the son of the late Rex and Mary Jane (Birt) Browning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rosie Smith and Betty Ellis; and a brother, Ronald Browning. Bobby was a retired Tool Die Setter. When he was able, he enjoyed fishing, yard work, and watching sports. He loved spending time with his family and was devoted to them. He is survived by his wife, Janice Browning (Harrison); his daughter, Tina and her husband Mario Tafoya of Plainfield, IL; his son, Timmy Browning of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren, Shannon and her husband James Lemos, Ryan and his wife Kahina Browning, and Justin and his wife Emily Browning; three great-grandchildren, James Lemos Jr., Daniel Lemos, and Lorraine Browning; 6 sisters, Charlotte and her husband Jerry Shelby, Francis Ring, Ruth Ann and her husband Berry Sensenig, Linda Block, Mary Sue Girard, and Diana and her husband Roy Mathena; 4 Brothers, Tommy and his wife Zydis Browning, Paul David Browning, Donald Browning, and Rex and his wife Elizabeth Browning. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Monday, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Maxwell officiating. In honor of Bobby’s wishes his remains will be cremated following the services.
