Virginia Carol “Jenny” Prince Parnell
of Lorado formerly of Kistler, WV
Virginia Carol “Jenny” Prince Parnell, 56, of Lorado formerly of Kistler, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.
She was born on August 30, 1966, in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Bill and Delphia Marie (Osborne) Prince.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Mark; her biological mother who died three days after Jenny’s birth Leslie Carol “Sissy”; 1 sister, Mary Hickman; and 4 brothers, Billy Ray “Duke” Prince, James “Jimmy” Prince, Arnold Prince, and Donald “Bimbo” Prince; brother-in-law, Rev. Eddie Isom; and sister-in-law, Debbie Prince.
Jenny was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed needle point, making crafts, and watching old classic Westerns. Jenny enjoyed life and never met a stranger. She was kind and caring and was always there to lend a hand to anyone. Jenny loved spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Sharon Isom of Lorado and Dovie (Bud) Canterbury of Amherstdale; four brothers, Andy (Susan) Prince of Clayton, NC, Sam (Peggy) Prince of Lundale, David (Christine) Prince of Kopperston, and Randall (Barb) Prince of Clayton, NC; brother-in-law Ernie Hickman; sisters-in-law, Brenda Prince, Cathy Prince, and Carolyn Prince; her companion Ronnie Morgan; her fur babies Bear Bear and Little Bit; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Timothy Isom officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
