Obituary of Kassime Macel Hickman
Please share a memory of Kassime to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kassime Macel Hickman, devoted father and a friend to many, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at CAMC-Memorial Division, after a long battle with health problems, at the age of 34.
He was born on January 1, 1989, at Logan, the son of Toni Hickman Robison and Edward “G” Robison of Kistler.
Preceding him in death are his older brother, Andre M. Hickman; his Uncles, Eddie J. Jackson and Kenneth Hickman; great-grandmothers, Fannie M. Cain and Beulah Clansey; and grandfather, Arthur Caul.
Kassime was a Class of 2007 graduate of Man High where he loved playing basketball for the Hillbillies and hanging out with his friends. He was a proud loving father to his daughter Amyria Taegan who was his whole world, the light of his life. Kassime had a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and loved to dance and sing. His family and friends meant the world to him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amyria T. Hickman and her mother, Amber Hickman, both of McDowell County; his parents, Toni (Hickman) Robison and Edward “G” Robison, his sister, LaTasha M. Hickman, and his nephew, Adryan K. Hickman, all of Kistler; his grandmother, Margaret A. Hickman of Paterson, NJ; and many Aunts, Uncles, and god-children. Kassime never met a stranger and adopted many special brothers and sisters: Andre Roach, Micah Hunter, Michael Parsons, Heather Walls, Christen Hunter, Kirsten Scites, his Sandy Bottom family and the list continues on and on….
