Russell Lee “Junior” Fraley Of Monaville, WV Russell Lee “Junior” Fraley, 78, of Monaville, departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Select Speciality Hospital at Charleston, after a long illness. He was born on December 17, 1944, in Cleveland, OH, the son of the late John and Ida (Robertson) Fraley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Andre Mack Hickman. Junior was a coal miner formerly employed with Pittston Coal Company for 10 years. He then built homes for several years before being hired at Logan Regional Medical Center as a wall paper/painter in the Maintenance Department where he worked for 25 years. Junior was Jehovah Witness for 47 years and had a deep love for the brothers and sisters in the congregation. He enjoyed drinking coffee, talking about the coal mines, and loved cutting grass with his riding lawn mower. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who always put his family first. He was the very definition of “a real man.” Junior will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Fraley; one son, Russell Fraley, Jr. of Monaville; two daughters, Amanda Fraley of Brenton and Sarah Hickman of Williamson; three grandchildren, Andrew Fraley of Barboursville, Hayden McCloud and Kaleb Russell McCloud, both of Logan; his sisters-in-law, Deanna Osborne of Logan and Patty Miller of Whitman; and his brother-in-law, Ricky Osborne of Logan.
