Obituary of Thomas Larry Donnelly

Thomas Larry “Bub” Donnelly of Accoville, WV Thomas Larry Donnelly, 31, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 14, 1991, at Logan, the son of Thomas Joe Jr. and Renee (Cook) Donnelly of Lorado. Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Sam and Gladys (Chapman) Cook; and his paternal grandfather, Thomas Donnelly, Sr.; and his aunt and uncle, Bob and Sherry (Cook) Lewis. Tommy was a 2009 graduate of Man High School where he played Hillbilly Football and lifted weights. He began his coal mining career in 2010 beginning as a red hat and achieving the position of Section Boss for Coronado Global Resources, Inc. Tommy was also certified to be an instructor. One of his greatest passions was coal mining. He enjoyed traveling, kayaking, riding 4-wheelers in the mountains, watching Pittsburg Steelers and WVU football games. Tommy had a fun loving personality: always laughing, cutting up, and being a jokester. He loved spending time with his children, family, and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, his side kick Maverick Donnelly and his little princess Marleigh Donnelly, both of Accoville; parents, Thomas and Renee Donnelly of Lorado; his sister, Tiffany (Machista) Cooper of Amherstdale; three nephews, Braxton, Bryson, and Jaxxon Caldwell; and two nieces, Emily Caldwell and Madison Cooper and his great nephew Mason, all of Amherstdale; his grandmother, Bonnie Donnelly Meade and her husband Ray of Whitman; along with a host of other relatives and friends. In honor of Tommy’s wishes his remains will be cremated and a memorial will be held at a later date.
