Obituary of Raymond Dale Taylor

Raymond Dale Taylor of Christian, WV Raymond Dale Taylor, 58, of Christian, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2023, leaving suddenly from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after an apparent heart attack. He was born May 24, 1964, at Houma, LA, the son of the late Darrell Dean and Madeline Carol (Walker) Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Lovejoy. Dale was a construction worker. He was very proud of the home that he built for his family. Dale enjoyed riding his Harley and loved his grand babies. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Tracy Lynn (Haislip) Taylor; children, Raymond Dale “D.J.” Taylor Jr. and Matthew Taylor and his girlfriend Chassidy, all of Huddleston, VA, Raine Rose and her husband Jesse of Mallory, James Gibson and his wife Chrissy of Christian, and Chrystal Hopkins and her boyfriend Nick of Cyclone; grandchildren, Levi Taylor, Rayjen Taylor, Micah Gibson, and Mason, Levi, Raylyn, Novah, and Bryar Rose; two sisters, Belinda Browning and her husband Wayne of Lakeland, FL and Nancy Taylor of Charleston; several nieces, nephews, and cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Community Cemetery at Christian. Pall bearers will be D.J. Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Jesse Rose, James Gibson, Clay Brumfield, Wayne Browning, and J.J. Paige. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, 115 Market St., Man, WV 25635 Phone: 304-583-6582 to help with funeral expenses.
