Obituary of Marsha Rene Vanover

Marsha Rene Vanover, 65, of Lorado passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a sudden illness. She was born on May 19, 1957, at Madison, the daughter of the late Billy and Beatrice (Powell) Jeffrey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Jeffrey; one sister, Robin Jeffrey Blankenship; six grandbabies, her parents-in-law, Ernest and Edna (Curtis) Vanover; and her special canine companion Molly. Marsha loved spending time with her family and traveling. Those left to cherish her memory are the love of her life, her husband, Richard Vanover; three daughters, Tara (Jason) Mills of Accoville, Jennifer (John) Cain II of Greenview, and Stacia Vanover of Lorado; seven grandchildren, Alexis (Ricky) Wiley of Lundale, JaLynn (Tim) Hatfield of Greenview, Ryan Cain of Morgantown, Timothy Shuler II of Dixie, Jason Mills II of Accoville, Haley Cain of Jeffrey, and Scout Ooten of Big Ugly; three great-grandchildren, MaKenzie, Gabe, and Alivia; a special niece, Tiffany (Aaron) Casey and their children, Lyric and Aria of St. Albans; a special nephew, Gary “Bubby” Blankenship of NC; a special sister, Phyllis (Larry) Mills of Lavalette, one Brother Stanley Jeffrey and Sister Kathy Brunty, along with a host of other relatives and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church at Lundale, where a Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Marsha’s remains have been cremated.
