Obituary of Atholine Geneva Adkins

Atholine Geneva “Genny” Adkins Of Neibert, WV Atholine Geneva “Genny” Adkins, 74, of Neibert, departed this life on Monday, December 2, 2022, leaving from CAMC at Teays Valley, after a short illness. She was born on September 16, 1948, at Man, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Nellie Jean (Altizer) Bartram. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Adkins; two sons, Larry Hill and Frank Adkins III; two daughters, Nellie Dempsey and Rebecca Horton; one sister, Cindy Powers; one brother, Larry Grimmett and one grandson, Shane Almadovar. Genny was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses in the Logan Congregation. She was kind hearted and loved spending time with her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Frank “PeeWee” Adkins IV and Peter (Lori) Almodovar; one sister, Linda Blankenship; one brother, Lonnie Bartram Jr. grandchildren, Chad Fillinger, Peter Almodovar II, Alexis Nagy, Shantelle Horton, and Skylar Belcher; great grandchildren, John Tyler, Victor Almodvar, Evelyn Almodvar, Tyler Nagy, Jenna Nagy, and Paizlee Blair; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Krantz-Mcneely Funeral home at Man. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Krantz-Mcneely Funeral Home with Brother Isom Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
