Obituary of Kathie Jean Albright

Kathie Jean Albright of Amherstdale, WV Kathie Jean Albright, 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 04, 2022, leaving this world from CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston, after a long illness. She was born on September 27, 1953 in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late Berry and Inez (Saunders) White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy White; and her father-in-law, Merdie Albright. Kathie was a proud graduate of Marshall University. She was a teacher at Man Junior High School for nearly forty years. She was an extraordinary wife and mother, to her husband, Roger, and her son, Dale. She served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ her entire adult life. She was a devoted member of Greenbranch Freewill Baptist for over thirty years. She was a devoted friend to everyone that she met and a wonderful grandparent to Ashton and Ava Albright. Kathie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roger Albright; her son, Dale Albright; her daughter-in-law, Silvia Albright; two grandchildren, Ashton and Ava Albright, and her two sisters, Connie White Kinser and Jennifer White Dean along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church at Man. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Mullins and Rev. Randy Toler. Pallbearers are friends and family.
