Obituary of Karen Sue Frye

Please share a memory of Karen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Karen Sue Frye, 70, of Robinette went on to be with the Lord November 16, 2022, after a lengthy illness. She was born the third of six children on December 11, 1951, at Bruno, the daughter of the late Tildon and Opal (Ellis) Blankenship. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Tiller. After graduating from Man High School in 1970, Karen became a homemaker and served her family until she was no longer able. Her family will remember her as a Godly woman. She dedicated her life to the Lord over 40 years ago. Karen was always available and willing to give spiritual guidance to anyone at any time. There was nothing she enjoyed more than seeing souls saved as she ministered the Word. Karen pastored numerous churches over her 40 years of ministry. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 52 years, Dunk; her three adoring sons, Donald Frye of Kistler, Michael Frye of Robinette, and Billy Frye and his fiancé, Abby Bryant of Landville; seven grandchildren, William (Ambria) Carpenter of VA, Marlena (Ben) McCoy of IL, Zachary Frye of Huff Creek, Amberlyn Caldwell of Huff Creek, Jordan Frye of Matheny, Jordan Lawhun of Coal Mountain, and Victor Browning of New Mexico; four great-grandchildren, Cali Nicole, Kenzie Jo, and Creed Anthony, all of IL, and Everlee Grace of Matheny. Also left to miss her are her siblings, Tildon, Jr. (LaDonna) Blankenship of West Logan, Charlotte (Joe) Gollie of Danville, Bernard (Kelley) Blankenship of Neibert, and Debbie (Bob) Fender of Robinette; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and church family, as well as a very special caregiver Jenny Whited Ramey. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Please join us in celebrating her life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
