Obituary of Jamie Leigh Tackett

Jamie Leigh Tackett, 42, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 31, 2022, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on February 8, 1980, at Man, the daughter of Lewis Edward “Ed” and Delana Rose “Lane” (Bias) Tackett of Accoville. Preceding her in death are her grandparents, James and Janice Bias and Charles and Betty Tackett; and her best friends, Jackie Frye and Travis Cyrus. Jamie was a 2000 graduate of Man High School. She was employed with Burke’s Outlet at Logan for the last five years. Jamie enjoyed being outside, watching her family fish, and spending time with family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Shanna Rose Tackett and her boyfriend Hunter Bradley of Bradshaw and Gracie Tackett of Accoville; her parents, Ed and Lane Tackett of Accoville; her boyfriend, Donald Block Jr. of Accoville; two brothers, Lewis and his wife Jessica Tackett of South Carolina and Tyler Johnston of Crown; two nieces, Kay Walker and her children Stephan and Emmett Walker of Man and Allyson Tackett of South Carolina, one nephew Zaiden Johnston of Crown; the parents of her boyfriend who loved her very much, Donald and Kay Block, her best friend Chasity Hubbard, along with a host of other relatives, work family and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev Bill Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery at Godby. Pallbearers will be Donald Block, Tyler Johnston, Louie Tackett, Titus Perry, Tristan Tackett, and Hunter Bradley.
