Obituary of Anna Belle Cantrell

Anna Belle Cantrell of Accoville, WV Anna Belle Cantrell, 89, of Accoville, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2022, leaving from her residence after a long illness. She was born on May 9, 1933, at Amherstdale, the daughter of the late Elmer Jeffrey, Sr. and the late Rosal Hawkins Jeffrey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Cantrell; four children, Ricky Cantrell, David Cantrell, Brandon Cantrell and Teresa Pennington; one granddaughter, Angela Adkins; and two siblings, Bill Jeffrey and Jean Mosley. Anna Belle was a home maker and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. When she was younger she enjoyed cooking and gardening. Anna Belle loved spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Kathy and David Yoakum of Accoville with whom she made her home, Philip and Teresa Cantrell of Kistler, Mark and Christina Cantrell of KY; a very special granddaughter and care taker, Melissa and Benjamin May of Amherstdale; siblings, Elmer (Lounice) Jeffrey, Jr. of Robinette, Bonnie Grimmett of Man, Dorothy Browning, and Dana Miller of Marlington; many grandchildren; two special great-grandchildren she saw every day, Christian Evans and Bentley Yoakum; daughter-in-law, Robin Gale Cantrell of Lundale; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pall bearers will be Benjamin May, Christian Evans, Ralph Police, Steven Police, Alex May, and Ricky Cantrell .
