Ina Beatrice “Bea” Wingler Of Kistler, WV Bea Wingler, 95, of Kistler, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 23, 2022. She was born October 25, 1926, a daughter of the late Sherman Gamble and Ethel “Maw” Gamble of Landville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Blankenship, and Bill Wingler, her three children, Jerry “Totche” Blankenship, Pam Daniels, and Patricia “TC” Thompson. a grandson, Andy Blankenship, granddaughter, Gilda Phillips. A daughter-in-law, Gaynell Blankenship, and a son-in-law, Jack B. Daniels Jr. Her brother and sister-in-law, Arlie and Arlena Gamble. Her sister and brother-in-law, Aloma and Shelly Godkin. Sister-in-law Linda Gamble. Along with her beloved baby dog Bear Wingler. Bea loved spending time with her family, and her laughter was infectious. She was a multi-talented, creative force of nature. She was an exceptional cook. Her coconut cream pie was a family favorite that oftentimes turned into family arguments about who was taking home the leftovers. She was a self-taught seamstress who could sew anything! Prom dresses, wedding dresses, baby clothes, costumes, and the famous story of the 30-minute Pants suit she made for her daughter, Pam. She was the artistic mind behind the successful T-shirt shop in Man. In the 80s, if you had a t-shirt with a decal and your name was on the back, rest assured, you were wearing a Beattie Wingler Creation. She loved spending summers on the Greenbrier River, where she loved to fish. She held a state citation for a smallmouth bass that was ‘bigger’ than Papaw Bill’s, and she enjoyed reminding him of that. She held many other titles, including Butcher, Cashier, Wood Crafter, Frog Collector, and most importantly, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her passing are her brother Paul Gamble, Crofton, MD. Her son Larry (Betty) Blankenship of Pineville, son-in-law, HD Thompson of Davin, grandchildren, Randy (Lea) Blankenship, Lena (Cecil) Lester, “little” Randy (Andrea) Blankenship all of Pineville, Jackie (Bobby) Smith of Lexington, NC, Crissy (Paul) Huggins of Gilbert, Jack (Michelle) Daniels of Braeholm, and J.R. (Cara) Thompson of Davin. And many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Gravesides services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny, with Rev. Pat Kinser officiating. Pallbearers will be family members.
