Obituary of Regina Faye Ellis

Regina Faye Ellis, 60, of Lorado, went to her heavenly home on September 23, 2022, at Logan Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on July 18, 1962, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Willie G. and Ernestine Bare McQuithy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie McQuithy, Walter McQuithy, and two nephews, Cletis Toler and Dale Workman. Regina enjoyed drawing, listening to music, and playing her drums. She enjoyed the outdoors; 4-wheeling, gardening, yard work, and just being outside. She loved her fur babies. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 16 years, Donald Lewis Ellis Jr.; 5 sisters: Peggy Maynard of South Man, Stella and her husband Flavel Workman of Dingess, Sharon McQuithy and her companion Robert Burgess of Crown, Patricia and her husband Darrell Blair of Accoville, Nina McQuithy of Accoville and two sisters-in-law, Linda McQuithy of Taplin and Lottie McQuithy of Landville. A special friend Violet Cline of Man, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating the life of Regina will be held at a later date. In honor of Regina’s wishes, her remains have been cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions can be made to Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
