Sheryl Lynn Rogers
Of Accoville, WV
Sheryl Lynn Rogers, 49, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2022, leaving this world from Logan Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
She was born on October 13, 1972, at Logan, the daughter of James Tony Cline of NC and the late Deloris Ann Griffin.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kelly Starr Griffin Goodman; and her grandmothers, Ruth Griffin and Esther Cline; and her cousin, Roy Toler.
Sheryl was a 1990 graduate of Man High School. Her passion was caring for others; helping people no matter their circumstances. She enjoyed painting, listening to music, and playing with her granddaughter Allison. An animal lover, Sheryl loved caring for her many fur babies. She stayed up to date on current state and federal news. Her inquiring mind researched many of the current news stories for their accuracy. Sheryl loved old movies and tried to get peopled interested in the memorabilia of their era. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Lilly Ann (Rogers) and John Tura of Accoville; one granddaughter, Allison Grace Tura; her father, James Tony Cline of NC; one brother, James Cline of NC; one sister, Bridgette Cline of NC; a very special niece, Jessica Goodman of Christian; many special cousins, Jason Griffin, Matthew Stevens, Kristina Robinson, Tara Brumfield, and many many more who will cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Brother Parrish Harvey and Brother Larry "Two" Harvey II officiating.
In honor of Sheryl’s wishes her remains will be cremated following the services.
