Obituary of Timothy Allen Sabo

Timothy Allen Sabo of Man, WV Timothy Allen “Big Tim” Sabo, 56, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, leaving from his earthly residence, after an extended illness. He was born May 14, 1966, at Logan, the son of the late Joseph and Patty (Birchwell) Sabo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Uncle Julius Sabo and his Aunt Helen Welch. Tim was a 1985 graduate of Logan High School where he was a member of the Logan High Marching Band. He was a security guard at Logan Regional Medical Center for several years. Prior to that, Tim was the manager of the Hatfield and McCoy Mart at the Fountain Place Mall for 13 years. An outdoorsman, Tim loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the Becco United Baptist Church at Becco. Tim loved to spend time with his grandchildren, Lexi, Lyric, and Noah. Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life for the past 30 years, Pammy Leanne Sabo; two sons, Jordon (Tiffany) Sabo of Neibert and Weston Sabo and his fiancé Alyssa Adkins of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Lexi, Lyric, and Noah Sabo of Neibert; one brother, Danny Sabo of Whitman; along with a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pete Welch, Frances Grimmett, his mother-in-law, Vickie Cobb, and a special neighbor, Steve Cresong for their care and compassion during Tim’s illness. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Becco United Baptist Church at Becco. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Becco United Baptist Church with Rev. P.J. Tomblin and Rev. Roland Cook officiating. In honor of Tim’s wishes his remains will be cremated following the services.
