Obituary of James O. Dickerson

James O. "J.J." Dickerson, Jr. of Spencer, WV James O. "J.J." Dickerson, Jr., 41, of Spencer, formerly of Man, went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2015, from Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born July 18, 1973, at Man, a son of the late James O. and Doris Morris Dickerson, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Geneva Dickerson and James and Ruby Morris. J.J. had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar and piano and also he enjoyed watching "Hee-Haw". He attended Westbrook Day Center in Spencer and brought much joy to everyone around. J.J. will live on through his gift to the Center of Organ Recovery and Education. Those left to cherish his memory are one sister, Kimberly (Timothy) Faine of Lundale; one niece, Courtney Hoosier of Lundale; one nephew, Andrew Faine of Chapmanville; several aunts and uncles along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Johnny Faine and Rev. Jody Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
