Obituary of Debra Mae Nutter

Debra Mae Nutter of Greenvalley, WV Debra Mae Nutter, 63, of Greenvalley, departed this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the home of her sister-in-law, Shirley Jean Grimmett, after a long illness. She was born on May 31, 1959, at Man, the daughter of the late William Bin and Lois Violet (Canup) Grimmett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Tim, Henry and Jerry Grimmett; two nephews, Jeremy and Todd Grimmett; one niece, Shaiyan Watson; and her friend, Franklin Nutter. Debra was employed with the Colonial Room Restaurant for over eight years. She enjoyed playing Candy Crush, working puzzle books, and reading books. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Russell Dwayne Nutter of Greenvalley; her siblings and their spouses, Lynn and Eric Watson of Christian, Shellia Grimmett of Greenville, Mary and Kenny Justice of Cyclone, Violet and Terry Trent of Leesburg, VA, Carl and Ilene Grimmett of Columbus, OH, and Mike Grimmett of Leesburg, VA; her sister-in-law, Shirley Jean Grimmett of Gilbert; many nieces and nephews, and her canine fur baby Tiny along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Brother Cecil Bartram officiating. In honor of Debra’s wishes her remains will be cremated after the services.
