Cletis Emery Lee Bailey-Toler of Taplin, WV Cletis Emery Lee Bailey-Toler, 50, of Taplin, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2022, leaving from his home at Taplin. He was born on January 1, 1972, at Logan, the son of Linda Marie (Bailey) McQuithy of Taplin with whom he made his home and the late Willie McQuithy, Jr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his biological father, Cletis Roscoe Toler. Cletis graduated from school in Harper’s Ferry. He worked as a care giver for the elderly and the disabled. Cletis loved life; fishing, singing, dancing, making people laugh, and hanging out with his friends. Cletis never met a stranger talking to everyone he met. He loved to spend time with his family and was devoted to caring for his Mom. Cletis will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Marie (Bailey) McQuithy; one brother, Willie Alfred (Shawn) McQuithy of Taplin; one sister, Melena McQuithy and her fiancé Jim Chambers of Taplin; his nephews and nieces, James McNeely and his fiancé Kayleigh Carter of Huff Creek, Brianna Simpkins and Cassidy Walls, both of Taplin, and Dana Canterbury and her fiancé Phillip Crusenberry of NC; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jayleigh and Kolson McNeely, Liam and Caroline McNeely and Marlee Crusenberry, his special friend, Tracey Doty of Lorado; close family friend, Ramona Doty of Kistler; many cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. In honor of Cletis’ wishes his remains have been cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
