Obituary of Charlotte Ann Heatherman Morgan

Charlotte Ann Heatherman Morgan of Gilbert, WV Charlotte Ann Heatherman Morgan, 62, of Gilbert, departed this life Wednesday, June 1, 2022, leaving Logan Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was born December 11, 1959, at Man, the daughter of the late Charles Parker “Utchie” and Peggy J. Standifur Heatherman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Andrew and Rose Standifur and Pat and Helen Heatherman; her aunt and uncles, Tom and Jeanie Standifur and Larry Heatherman and Winsel Elliott. Charlotte loved her family, friends and fur babies. She said being “Nana” was a special blessing. Charlotte demonstrated her commitment and love for Christ by her compassionate spirit and generosity. She was a “giver.” Also, she enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and camping on the river. She worked as a Dental Hygienist at the Community Health Foundation Dental Clinic. Later, she graduated from Logan Mingo Licensed Practical Nursing Program at the Ralph R. Willis Career and Technical Center. Nursing was a passion for Charlotte where she found her purpose in life that was demonstrated through her caring for others. Through the years she worked at various health facilities throughout Logan, Mingo and McDowell Counties. Charlotte was a fierce advocate for under privileged and neglected children! Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Timothy Allen Morgan; children, Amber Hatfield (Barry Nolen) of Ashland, KY, Cortney (Devon) Keneda of North Springs, Jacob Morgan and fiancé Gabby Stuart of Princeton. Charlotte was “Nana” to granddaughters, Callie, Macie, and Bailie due to arrive in July; one brother, Charles “Chuck” and Trina Heatherman of Cyclone, one sister-in-law, Cheri (Kevin) Hatfield of Hampden; one brother-in-law, Jonathan (Tara) Morgan of North Springs; and five aunts that she considered very special and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Norman Justice officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pall bearers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
