Obituary of Fredericka Ann Mitchell

Please share a memory of Fredericka to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Fredericka Ann Mitchell of Accoville, WV Fredericka Ann Mitchell, 75, of Accoville, departed this life to meet her heavenly Father on May 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 23, 1947, at Amherstdale, the daughter of the late Elmer “Happy Jack” Caudill and Florida (Queen) Caudill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles E. Caudill. She was a graduate of Man High School and the Ralph R. Willis Licensed Practical Nurse’s Program. Following her graduation she worked as an LPN at Man Community Health Foundation for 11 years. She was loved by all her co-workers and patients alike for her kindness and compassion. Fredericka was a devoted wife and mother who loved her Family First and Foremost. Her greatest love and past time was spending time with family. She loved gathering around the kitchen table with a cup of coffee sharing stories, playing games, and just making memories. Fredericka especially loved spending time with her sisters going to yard sales and consignment shops. She also enjoyed visiting the family “fish camp” at the Greenbrier River, with a host of family and friends; cooking, playing games, and laughing into the wee hours of the night. She will be greatly missed by her family who adored her with all of their hearts. Left to treasure her memory are her loving husband of 54 years, Bobbie Lee Mitchell of Accoville; daughter, Tiffany Mitchell of Milton; sons, Bobby Lee Mitchell Jr. of Accoville and Dustin Mitchell of Hurricane; and grandchildren, Madisyn Mitchell, Bobby Lee Mitchell III, Seth Mitchell, Aiden, Jacob, and Zane Mitchell, and Isabella Browning. Also to treasure her memory are her sisters, Martha Robinson of Bolt, Carol Belcher of Accoville, and Sandra Lusk of Bolt; brothers, Jack Caudill and Jimmy Caudill, both of Huff Creek and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dignity Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. And also a special thank you to her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Henaghan, Alice Mitchell, and Tamra Dicken and to all our family, wonderful neighbors and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
