Obituary of Myrtle Meadows Brown

Myrtle Mae Meadows Brown of Davin, WV Myrtle Mae Meadows Brown, 96, of Davin, went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2015, at Trinity Healthcare at Williamson, after a short illness. She was born April 5, 1919, at Island Creek, the daughter of the late Ella Meadows Dingess. Myrtle was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brown; her children, Ruby Brown Corns and John Brown; and her grandparents who raised her, Green and Exer Meadows. She was a home maker and a member of the Big Spring Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are her son-in-law, Joe Corns of Davin; her daughter-in-law, Norma Brown of Kistler; six grandchildren, Tammy Gibson of Man, Patty Cook of Oceana, Rob Lee Brown, Bryan Brown, and Christian Brown, all of FL; and Michael Brown of Germany; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her care givers, Marie Watson and Christy Adkins; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
