I have tried multiple times to add a memory to honor this great man and every time i feel its not enough. I realize that ill never be able to share just a few thoughts to truly honor mr miller and what he meant to me and sooo many others! So i will keep it simple. Mr Miller was awesome! A great teacher, a great coach, a great dad and husband, a great friend and just a great person period. I was blessed to just sit around and talk to him many times, he was family to me! They don’t make many like Denny. He will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to the family

Sad to hear about Dennys death. He was my 10th grade history teacher the first year he taught school. 1969-70 I think it was. One of my favorites. RIP Mr Miller.

The world is definitely a much sadder place without his witty humor. He made learning fun. He had the kindest heart. How lucky the Man area was to have him. His memory will be carried on for years by the students who were fortunate enough to have had him as a teacher. Praying for comfort for his dear family

You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband and father, Coach Miller. I understand he had been ill for some time. It must have been difficult for you and your family during this difficult time. My thoughts are with you. I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and give your family the power to overcome your loss. His legacy will live on in the wonderful things that he did for those who knew him. May this tribute be a reflection of the glorious life that he lived.

My deepest sympathies to the Miller family. My fondest memories of high school include our World History Classes. He was one of the few people who believed in me enough to make me believe in myself. He was beloved and will be truly missed.

Denny, you and I shared SO many laughs and good times back in the day. I will always remember you, and look up to you as my cooler, older mentor. You may be gone but YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. LOVE, MIKE PICCIRILLO

My condolences to the Miller family. Coach Miller was an awesome teacher, coach and even better person. I call him coach, although I never played for him. He was a life coach! Some may recall that I was a little too skinny for football in high school. Coach always told me that eating all that chocolate would catch up with me. He was right! He will be missed! Love to the family.

My condolences to Mr. Millers family. In addition to history classes at MHS. Many in our community had him as a adjunct professor at the SWVCC. Our town has lost a true asset.
