Brenda Sue Walker
“Granny”
of Kistler, WV
Brenda Sue Walker also known as “Granny”, 77, of Kistler gained her heavenly wings Wednesday, March 16, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 2, 1944, at Quick, the daughter of the late Roy Stonewall and Goldie Mae Scott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Roy, and Charles Scott; one sister, Norma Keck; one daughter with whom she couldn’t wait to reunite, Brenda Mae Frazier; one granddaughter, Salenna Brooke Grimmett; one great-granddaughter, Tiara Paige Grimmett; and a special friend, Nioka White.
Brenda was an avid pet groomer for 30 plus years who retired in 2009. She was full of life. Granny enjoyed spending time with her animals and her family, playing cards, arts and crafts, nature, pictures, and watching her great-grandbabies play. She just enjoyed everything life has to offer.
Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Allen (Marie) Grimmett with whom she made her home, French “Slugger” (Tonya) Grimmett, and Gary Ray (Tammie) Trammell; 10 grandkids, Tia Renee Green, Brandon “Beeper” (Rikka) Powers, Erica Renee Anderson, James “Little Man” Green, Talenna Grimmett, Charles “Little Al” (Zandrea) Grimmett, Gary “Tre” (Jerica) Trammell, Joseph R. Trammell, Dustin Tyler (Ashley) Grimmett, and Matthew Ryan Grimmett; 15 great-grandkids; one special sister-in-law who Brenda spoke to everyday and considered her best friend, Flora Mae Scott; her favorite cat, Keke; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
