Brenda Sue Glandon Blackman
of Neibert, WV
Brenda Sue Glandon Blackman, 74, of Neibert, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 24, 2022, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.
She was born on December 4, 1947, at Bruno, the daughter of the late Deltora “Dell” and Belva (Walls) Glandon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Wyatt, Eloise Wheeling, and Avis Glandon; and two brothers, Paul Glandon and Clayton Glandon.
Brenda was baptized on October 3, 1999. Later, she became a member of the Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church at Rita. She enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to Gospel music, eating out, crocheting, and loving on her fur baby Lady.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Sherry Blackman and her companion of 14 years Gene Pearson of MS and Terrie Lynn Adkins and her husband of seven years Bobby Lee Adkins of Neibert; three grandchildren, Isaiah Harvey of MS, Brittany Riley and her husband James of Logan, and Bobby Lee Adkins, Jr. of Lenore; many nieces and nephews; and her church family she loved dearly along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Rev. Alfred “Butch” Cobb officiating.
