Martha Rose Christian
of Mallory, WV
Martha Rose Christian, 89, of Mallory, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.
She was born August 14, 1925, at Davin, the daughter of the late John and Virgina Mae Grizzle Kossos.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Beulah Asaro.
Martha was a home maker and a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Mallory Missionary Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, Dale Christian of Mallory; one son, David (Rosemarie) Christian of Melbourne, FL; one granddaughter, Caitlin Christian of Tampa, FL; one brother, Chris Kossos of Charleston; one sister, Helen Brown of Mallory; one nephew, John (Vicky) Kossos of Avon, IN; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Mike York officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Friends may call one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
