Obituary of Peggy Lou Browning

Peggy Browning, 80, of Bruno, was reunited with the love of her life Vaughn Browning, and into the arms of Jesus on February 19th, 2022. On March 20th, 1941, she was born in Greenville to the late George and Edith Ellis. In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, she was preceded in death by her sister Carol Hilbert. Peggy was a homemaker, a loving wife to Vaughn, and the bestest Mommy to her girls. Those left to cherish her memory are four daughters: Edy and her husband Tim Martin, Andrea and her husband Larry Copley, Georgie Browning, and her Baby girl Mary and her husband, Spot Toler, all of Bruno. Two Brothers, Vick and his wife Dolly Ellis of Maryland, and George and Carolyn Ellis of Bruno. Four sisters: Lin and her husband Les Cochran of Bruno, Bren and her husband Rod Adkins of Gilman Bottom, Ruth and her husband Tom Dean of Bruno, and Joan Adkins of Hamlin. Eight grandchildren: Kelli and her husband Joseph Nelson of Ruthledge, TN, Amber Collins of Man, Brittney Toler of Bruno, Carey Lester of Bruno, Kim and her husband Alex Toler of Davin, Dink Lester of Bruno, Derick Copley of Man, and Brandon Copley of Bruno. Six Great-Grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and family relatives Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Tuesday, at Bruno Church of God. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, at Bruno Church of God, with Rev. Roger Frye conducting her services. The family has requested that masks be worn due to Covid and no pictures or videos.
