Obituary of Pamela Lynn Vest

Pamela Lynn Vest of Mallory, WV Pamela Lynn Vest, 65, of Mallory, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 14, 2022, leaving from her earthly home at Mallory, after a long illness. She was born on February 11, 1957, at Man, the daughter of the late Claude “Glenn” and Edith “Bugs” (Mills) Evans. In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Michelle Vest Hastings; her parents-in-law, Bill and Marie Vest; and Uncle Jackie Evans. Pam was a Christian for over 46 years and was a faithful member of the Claypool United Methodist Church where she only missed two revivals in all of her years there. She was a loving, caring person who enjoyed reading her Bible, praying for people, and witnessing to people about the Lord. In her last years she was unable to attend church the way she always had yet she still served the Lord as a Prayer Warrior interceding for everyone she knew. Devoted to her family, she loved visiting with her grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael Vest; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Collins, Kylie Collins, and Bryce Hastings, all of Hurricane; her sister, Glenna (Buddy) Preston of Man; and her brother, Johnny Evans of Mallory; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Rev. Tim Shuff officiating. Pall Bearers will be Chuck Preston, Chris Preston, Chad Preston, Johnny Evans, Bobby Collins, and Arion Rogers.
