Dorothy Jane Blankenship
of Gilman Bottom, WV
Dorothy Jane Blankenship, 68, of Gilman Bottom, died Friday, April 10, 2015, at CAMC-Memorial.
She was born on February 2, 1947, at Lorado, the daughter of the late Clyde and Ethel Aldridge Bailey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dallas, Donald, Port, and Jack Bailey.
Dorothy was known to many as "Mamaw Dot".
Survivors include three sons, Benny Blankenship of FL, Michael Blankenship of Gilman Bottom, and Charles Blankenship of Kistler; one daughter, Cynthia and Emmitt Blankenship of Lenore; one sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Layman Eddy of Newell; four grandchildren, Katie Lynn Blankenship, Jessica Blankenship, Cody Blankenship, and Brooke Browning; and four great-grandbabies, Khloe, Easton, Liam, and Elijah.
The family is honoring her wishes for her remains to be cremated and no services to be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
