Obituary of Frances Lou Vincent

Frances Lou Vincent, 78, of Chesapeake, departed this life on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at CAMC-Memorial Division in Charleston and is now with the Lord in Paradise. She was born on December 6, 1943, at Robinette, the daughter of the late Clarence Herbert, Sr. and Georgia Ann (Smith) Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence Herbert Adkins, Jr., Ruford Adkins, and Ronald Adkins; four sisters, Eunice Bragg, Lois Hatfield, Loraine Adkins, and Jean Williams. Frances was a loving wife and amazing mother. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, dogs, and making peoples lives happier. Although Frances was firm in her beliefs and brooked no argument, she had a generous spirit and a loving heart. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 57 years, Arlington C. Vincent; one daughter, Victoria Vanessa “Nessa” Vincent Baltier and her husband Eddie Baltier of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Zola “Doodle” Conner of Robinette and JoAnn McNeely (Darrell Lockhart) of Bluefield; A very special niece, Yvonne Spence of Robinette, and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. A gathering of friends and families will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. In honor of Frances’ wishes her remains will be cremated.
