Kimberly Dawn “Kim” Cozart Of Davin, WV Kimberly Dawn “Kim” Cozart, 47, of Davin, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, December 2, 2021, leaving suddenly from Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 30, 1974, at Man, the daughter of Arlon Ray and Joan Marie (Lamb) Grimmett. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Elmer and Frances “Frankie” (Harris) Lamb; her paternal grandparents, Teddy and Lettie (Ellis) Grimmett; and her father-in-law, George A. Cozart. Kim was a 1993 graduate of Man High School. She then earned a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree from Marshall University. She was currently employed by the Logan County Board of Education as a third grade math teacher at Buffalo Grade School. Kim loved her students and enjoyed helping them excel. She was a member of the West Virginia Educators Association. Kim was a faithful, very active member of the Bruno Church of God where she was a member of the choir. She was a talented musician and a leader of the Mimes Drama Team at Bruno Church of God. Family was Kim’s passion and she loved being with family where ever life took them. You could usually find Kim at a basketball court or baseball field contentedly following her sons through their adventures. Those left to cherish her memory are the love of her life her husband of 27 years, Bobby Cozart; three sons, Brandon Scott Cozart, Ryan James Cozart, and Andrew Blake Cozart, all at home; her mother and father, Arlon and Joan Grimmett of Bruno; her sister, Kelly Walker and her husband Shaun of Bruno; her mother-in-law, Sandra Cozart of Brooksville, FL; her sister-in-law, Kay Cozart of Brooksville, FL; and one brother-in-law, Eddie Cozart and his wife Ronda of Brooksville, FL; her nieces and nephews, Emilee Walker and Micah Walker, both of Bruno and Nick Cozart, Clay Cozart, and Becca Cozart, all of Brooksville, FL; her Uncle with whom she shared a special bond , Jerry Lamb of Bruno; and many other close Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins along with a host of other relatives, church family, co-workers, and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Bruno Church of God at Bruno. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Bruno Church of God with Rev. Roger Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
