I was so very sorry to hear of my cousin "Johnny Dean's", passing. This is what I remember always calling him when he came to visit us on the farm every Easter. He would always hide the eggs for us younger ones. I thought he was so handsome, all decked out in dress clothes, as we all were. That was our tradition. My grandmother (his mother's sister), always had a feast laid out for everyone after the egg hunt. It was so much fun to hang out with the cousins. I loved to watch Johnny Dean's interactions with his little sister, Sharron and wondered what it would be like to have a big brother. I could tell he loved her dearly. I have fond memories of those Easters of long ago and spending time with those we love. RIP "Johnny Dean."
