Lessie Yvonne Clay Of Crown, WV Lessie Yvonne Clay, 71, of Crown, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, March 15, 2021, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a long illness. She was born June 5, 1949, at Logan, the daughter of the late George and Catherine Frances Baglama Dean. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Archie Clay; two sisters, Bridgette Kay Dean and Linda Louise Baldridge; and three brothers, Terry Dean, James Ivan Dean, and George Robert “Bobby” Dean. Yvonne was a home maker, an excellent wife, a loving mother, and devoted sister. She was a Christian for over 50 years and was a faithful member of the Liberty Baptist Church at Amherstdale where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and sang in the choir. Yvonne enjoyed cooking and cleaning. She loved spending time with her grandchildren especially cooking for them. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Archie Tildon Clay of Bethune, SC and his girlfriend, Patty Kirk of Delbarton and Chris Clay and his wife Jennifer of Crown; three grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan Clay, Alison Nicole Clay, Kyler Scott Clay, and Blake Sinecoff; one sister, Kay Block and her husband Donald of Accoville; one brother, Danny Dean and his wife Millie of Accoville; a special nephew who helped Yvonne with anything she needed, Dan Charles Dean of Accoville; many other nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Chet Clay and Rev. Clifford Bartram officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pall bearers Nick Clay, Dan Charles Dean, James “Jimbo” Dean, Skip Dean, Donald Block, Jr., and Blake Sinecoff.
