Albert Hardy Ellis Of Kistler, WV Albert Hardy Ellis, 78, of Kistler, departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long illness. He was born on December 13, 1942, at Jolo, the son of the late Pribble and Edna Grace Keene Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Lourene Gibson Ellis. Albert was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Cuban Missal Crisis. He was also an avid golfer. Dad, As one of the smartest people I’ve ever known it was hard to take you serious at times. You were always making light of everything and telling us to laugh about it yet assuring us that everything would be alright. You were the stars in my mother’s eyes and you always kept her on a pedestal. We love you Dad for the safety, security you gave us and for never charging us rent when we had to come back home. You never met a stranger even if it ended in a fist fight at Walmart. A proud man you were and you will be loved and missed more than anything! Until we meet again, my Mom has you all to herself without us kids.
