Obituary of Beatrice Bryant

Beatrice Bryant Of Moneta, VA formerly of Davin, WV Beatrice Bryant, 88, of Moneta, VA, formerly of Davin, WV, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, leaving from Lynchburg General Hospital at Lynchburg, VA, after a brief illness. She was born on June 4, 1932, in Logan County, WV, the daughter of the late Earl and Ida (Lambert) Manning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howard Bryant; an adopted son, Thomas Joseph Bryant; a daughter, Donna Thompson; and her brother, Audrey Manning. Mrs. Bryant was a home maker and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. When she lived in Davin, she attended the Mallory Church of God and the Davin Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching wild life. Beatrice will be deeply missed by those who loved her. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Bobby and Debra Bryant of Davin, WV; one daughter, Jacqueline and Danny Mangus of Smith Mtn., VA; eight grandchildren, Christina White, Deidre Bryant, Jessica Robertson, Amber Davis, James Carter, Clyde Woods, Derick Mangus, and Nikki Myers; 10 great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Billy Manning of Davin; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Johnny Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
