Obituary of Miss Rosella Blankenship

Rosella Blankenship of Bruno, WV Rosella Blankenship, 88, of Bruno, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born on June 7, 1926, at Christian, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ann Stafford Blankenship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie Blankenship and Jim Blankenship; two sisters, Elsie Thomas and Therlie Blankenship; two nieces, Georgian Thomas and Marie Frances Hatfield; and one nephew, Rev. Benny Lee Blankenship. Rose was a home maker. She was a Christian who attended Bruno Church of God when she was able. Surviving are many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015, at the Bruno Church of God with Rev. Roger Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Browning-Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
