Mike Roark Of Robinette, WV Mike Roark, 58, of Robinette, went to rejoice with the Lord on Friday, September 18, 2020, leaving from CAMC-Memorial Division, after a sudden illness. He was born on September 20, 1961, at Man, the son of the late Tommy and Opal Brunty Roark. Mike was a 1979 graduate of Man High School. After graduation, he started working for Ellis Supply where he worked for 40 years. Mike was a member of the Buffalo Creek Volunteer Fire Department in the 1980’s. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed fishing. Mike was a Christian and a faithful member of Mallory Church of God where he loved his church family. Devoted to his family, Mike was an excellent husband and loving father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life his wife of 40 years, Elva “Gerl” Roark; one daughter, Misty “Pooh” Ellis and her husband Nick of South Man; one son, Michael “Bubba” Roark and his wife Kayla of Cyclone; seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Chris, Abby, Jacob, Savannah, Lilly, and Lainey; one sister, Sherri White of GA; his uncle, Arthur Brunty and his wife Barb of Lundale; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends. A memorial service will begin at 12 Noon Monday, September 21, 2020, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Pastor Shaun Walker officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to services. In honor of Mike’s wishes, his remains have been cremated.
