Rev. Frank Louie Copley Of Davin, WV Rev. Frank Louie Copley, 90, of Davin, went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2020 at 9:30 p.m., leaving from Trinity Healthcare at Logan, after an extended illness. He was born April 10, 1930, at Mud Fork, the son of the late Blaine and Chattie Moore Copley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Della Copley Ekwall and Jonathan Copley; three sisters, Irene Sugg, Loraine Tackett, and Beulah Doty; and six brothers, Tennis Copley, Ralph Copley, Lawrence “Tom” Copley, Blaine “June” Copley, Jr., Andrew Copley, and Howard Copley. Rev. Frank Copley was an ordained minister in the Freewill Baptist Faith. He served as a Boy Scout Leader and as the Chaplain at the Chief Logan Boy Scout Camp for several years where he was a member of the Arrow. Frank was a retired coal miner formerly employed with Guyan Eagle Coal Company at Buffalo Creek and Powellton Coal Company at Rock House. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 72 years, Lyla McKee Copley; his grandchildren, Justin R. Ekwall and Ashley Ragnas, and five great-grandchildren, Theodore Ekwall, Jonathan D. Ekwall, Corie Ekwall, Piper Regnas, and Everett Regnas along with a host of other friends and relatives. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Rev. Rex Thompson officiating.
