Of Man, WV
Richard Runyon, 42, of Man, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020, at home, after a sudden illness.
He was born on October 15, 1977, at Logan, the son of the late Richard Runyon.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Jeff Runyon; paternal grandparents, Thelma and Ezra Runyon and his maternal grandparents, Madison Woodrow and Dora Abraham Callaway.
Richard was a graduate of Logan High School where he was a member of the J.R.O.T.C.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of six years, Kathy Runyon of Man; his mother-in-law, Linda Wingler and her husband David of Lorado; his brother-in-law, James Curley of Lorado; his sister-in-law, Donna Toler and her husband Derek of Accoville; one special niece Olivia Toler of Accoville; his mother, Kathy Layne of Omar; his step-father, Tyrone Layne of Gilbert; his brother, Joseph Runyon and his fiancé Crystal McNeely of Omar; three special nieces, Kiara, Jasmine, and Lexie
Runyon, all of Omar; his three special friends, Chester Osborne, Michele Stapleton, and Melody Maynard, all of Man; along with a host of other friends and family.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Gary Starr officiating and special singing by Cinda Baccellieri. Burial will follow in Hall and McCoy Cemetery at Sarah Ann.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
