Obituary of Donald Gene Tomblin, Jr.

Donald “Geneo” Tomblin, Jr. Of Lorado, WV Donald Gene “Geneo” Tomblin, Jr., of Lorado, departed this life on Monday, June 29, 2020, at his residence, after a long illness. He was born on December 5, 1968, at Man, the son of Donald Gene Tomblin, Sr. and Judy Ann Tomblin of Lorado. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Calvin and Racie Tomblin; and uncles, Calvin and Mickey Tomblin; and one aunt, Linda Louise Tomblin. Geneo was a 1987 graduate of Man High School. He worked as an EMT for LEASA for 15 years. He enjoyed 4-wheeling and having a bon fire. Geneo was an animal lover and loved his three dogs, Sasha, Black Jack, and Boscoe, and his parrot, Brady, and his parakeet, Buster. In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are one son, Zachury Tomblin and his wife Gena of Dingess; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Joseph, and Lyndsey all of Dingess; one sister, Holly Albright and her husband Johnny of Accoville; four nephews, Cody Albright, Thatcher Tomblin, Kolten Albright, and Jacob Messer; one niece, Erica Messer; a cousin who was like a sister, Angel Spurlock and her husband Cliff of Henlawson; a special great-niece, Paige Dowden of Henlawson; and a special aunt, Geneva Wingler of Henlawson along with a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2020, at Becco United Baptist Church at Becco with Rev. P.J. Tomblin officiating. In honor of Geneo’s request his remains have been cremated.
